How much do you charge? What do you charge? How do you charge?

A fee of $129.99 is assessed to all clients for the technician to come out to your home/small business. This does include a diagnosis.
After the diagnosis has been performed our technician will be able to tell you exactly what the problem is, what has caused the problem, and furthermore, exactly what needs to be done to repair the problem in its entirety. He will give you some accurate recommendations as to what service or services will be needed to resolve the issue entirely. The service charges will be added to the invoice as needed. We charge on a per service basis NOT PER HOUR and most of our common services range from $29-$79 per service depending on what service or services will be needed at that point.
Our average bill out is around $190-$210 per call. Please compare us to the
other geeks. You'll find we're a lot cheaper!

Do you guys make house calls? |
Yes. We offer nationwide onsite PC and network repair services for small
business and residential clients. We also offer remote service in which a
geek will take control of your PC remotely (from his location) and repair
it while you watch. This is a cheaper repair alternative but it does
require high speed internet access. Pricing can be found

Would it be cheaper to drop off my PC? |
Currently, we do not offer any drop off locations to our customer. We strictly offer onsite and remote repair services only.

Can you fix my problem? |
Yes, we probably can. 99.99% of the time we can and will solve any given PC/Network related issue. And if you have a unique request, just ask, we can probably handle that too.

What type of services do you offer? |
We mainly provide PC or Network repair services to residential and small business clients. However, if you have a unique need, just ask, we can probably get it done for you.

Will my PC be fixed right away? |
Yes. We repair all PCs and networks onsite at the time of the requested appointment.

What if the technician decides that he cannot fix the problem?
|
Our technician will NEVER leave you hanging? We will always be able to offer some kind of solution or option to your problem. The question really is NOT Can we fix it? but RATHER Is it worthwhile to repair?. In some cases, for instance, if you had a bad motherboard, the repair procedure would just not be cost-worthy for the customer. It is in this case that we would just be honest and tell the client that it would be more beneficial to buy another PC vs. repair an old one for nearly the same price.

I called because I saw your, "You don't pay unless we fix it" policy advertisement, how does this work?

The customer must agree to the $129.99 onsite diagnostics fee. After the diagnostics is performed the technician will be making recommendations as to what service will be needed to repair the PC. You will be trusting the technician at this point, so if he performs the service and it fails to correct the issue, you are not obligated to pay for that service. You are only obligated to pay for only those services that in the end help to solve the original or root issue OR any services that you have especially requested in addition to the fix services.

How do I sign up for remote support? |
We can set you up for an appointment
when you call our toll free number (877.433.5835). Just tell the
representative you speak with that you would like remote support. The process is exactly the same as setting up an onsite appointment. We just need to note that this is a remote support request in the notes.

What is the pricing for remote support? |
$69.99 for one fix/service
$129.99 for up to three fixes/services
$189.99 for up to five fixes/services
$249.99 for up to seven fixes/services
$299.99 We'll work as long as it takes to resolve any/all of your issues.

Do you charge extra for weekend appointments? |
No. Not at this time. The price is the same no matter when you invite your geek out.

Are your technicians certified, bonded, trustworthy?
|
Yes. All technicians are highly certified and experienced. All have at least an A+ certification, but most have much more certification than this. Our technicians also average 5-6 years of experience. And all have had background checks run on them.

Do you recover data? How much do you charge for data recovery?
|
Yes. But depending upon what shape your hard drive is in, your chances may be somewhat slim of recovering all your data. The service does cost $249.99 if we are successful at recovering any data. $75 for attempted data recovery with no success.

Can your recover deleted files? |
Yes. In most cases we can if your hard drive is not bad. And many times we can even if your hard drive is bad.

Will your geek speak my language? |
We pride ourselves on friendly, helpful, and trustworthy service. If you don't understand the way something works, our technicians will not leave you until we are sure you do understand? Our geeks are trained on how to step down to your level and explains things in terms that you will be able to understand?
We do have Spanish speaking phone reps and technicians available upon
request.

No. That is the Geek Squad. They are owned by Best Buy. But we offer EXACTLY the same services as they do, and are much cheaper. On average, our customers save
at least $50-$70 over the competitions prices.

How soon can I have a geek out? |
If you call before 11AM on a weekday we can probably [85% chance] send a geek out by late afternoon
[3-5PM] or early evening. But we can only guarantee next day appointments if made before 5PM the preceding weekday.

We can send a geek out to your house 24/7/365 including holidays.

What is the benefit of choosing you over the competition?

Fast, friendly, reliable service, an honest reputation, a no nonsense You don't pay unless we fix it! policy, fixed flat rates (we do not charge by the hour so you'll always know what you are being charged for), honest service, and guaranteed service are just a few of the reasons NOT TO MENTION we are on average %30-%35 cheaper than the competition which translates into an average savings of $50-$70 per service call.

Will the technician call before arriving onsite? |
Yes. All of our technicians are responsible to call their customers not only to introduce themselves to the customer but also to confirm the appointment time once again with the customer.

Do you take cash or checks? |
No. In order for our system to properly route the work order we must obtain your credit card information in advance. Your credit card is not charged, however, until after the work order has been completed. We want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with all of our services performed by your geek and charges as they appear on the invoice and so we do ask that you sign a copy of our invoice indicating your satisfaction with both the service and charges. Once this invoice is received back here to our billing department, that is when your credit card is actually charged for the completed work order.

Why do I have to give my credit card information? I do not like giving my credit card information over the phone. |
There are a couple of reasons why we must take the credit card information up front. The biggest reason is for fraud prevention purposes. We do not allow our technicians to accept and physically handle any cash or credit card information onsite. All payments are handled by our billing department where there are a select few who are authorized to process a transaction after the work order has been returned with the customers signature indicating their satisfaction with the charges. This is the safest and most efficient means of securing a transaction.
...And we have never had an incident yet.

How do you charge? |
We charge on a per service basis? It does not matter how long it takes a technician to do your job, your price will always remain the same. The technician will only charge you for services that you have requested or those services that needed to be performed to solve your initial issue. Are your technicians local? |
Yes. Most of our technicians travel less than 10 miles to arrive at your site.

Are your services warranted? |
Yes. You will have (5) five days from the time that the technician leaves your site to test your PC and peripherals. If something still is not working right, you may call us back within (5) five days and we will come back out for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE
(provided additional service(s) are not requested or required), and we'll work until your issue is completely resolved and you are %100 satisfied.
We also warranty virus and spyware abatement services for a period of (30) thirty days provided that you have allowed our technician to install our company recommended virus and spyware protections and you have updated the definitions of both with the most recent updates available and have run a full system scan. Our technician will show you how to update your software after he has completed installation of it.

How long does the average appointment take? |
We recommend setting aside at least (2.5-3) two-and-a-half to three hours. However, most of our appointments are finished much more quickly than this.

Do you charge a cancellation fee? |
Not unless you cancel after the technician has already called you to confirm the appointment time. In this case we would charge $45.
